HEART Board Member, Fred Pesce, was recently honored at the Kings of Long Island SCNG Event.
The Long Island Press reports: “SCNG Events, a division of Long Island Press parent company Schneps Community News Group, honored some of the top businessmen from Suffolk and Nassau counties for the work they do in their professions and their communities during a gala at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck.
Hundreds of supporters gathered to see dozens of successful business, community, cultural, political, civic, and religious male leaders honored at SCNG Events’ prestigious Kings of Long Island Awards and Networking event.”
For the past 15 years, Fred Pesce has been a partner and Creative Director with Vertigo Media Group, a Marketing/Branding/Advertising firm, located on Long Island, New York. Fred, a proud Naval Veteran of Operation Desert Storm also offers over 20 years’ experience in the personal development field through his participation in leadership workshops and classes in NYC. His passion for making a difference led to the recent organization of a trip to HEART in Haiti with himself, his son and a team of 23 people, whom raised $35,000 to build a library for the school. Fred brings discipline, motivation, teamwork, playfulness, a high standard of creative vision and a positive belief that there are no problems; there are only solutions to problems. His greatest joy is spending time with his 17-year old son, John, and wife, Nicole.
Executive Director of HEART, Shad St. Louis, and HEART Board Member, Corinne Warren, were in attendance to honor Fred as well. Congratulations. We are grateful for your involvement in the community and with HEART in Haiti.
