Corinne Warren

Corinne Warren served as the Secretary of the HEART Board. Her professional background was rooted in the mental health field, complemented by her roles in various organizations, including Key Club International in high school and the American Heart Association Club during her college years. She brought to the board a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health from Cortland State University and was also pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Management from Clarkson University. Corinne’s commitment to service extended beyond local communities. In 2012, she volunteered in Haiti, inspired by her longtime friend and fellow board member, Carina Blon, who was volunteering and residing there. This experience marked a turning point; upon returning to the states, she realized her studies in athletic training were too narrowly focused. Driven by a desire to make a broader impact, she shifted her academic focus to better align with her aspirations, transitioning her major to Community Health. Her professional and personal objectives were significantly shaped by her trips to Haiti. These experiences fueled her ambition to leverage her expertise in mental and community health to benefit the communities of Merger and Sibert. Corinne’s tenure on the board was marked by a steadfast hope for the future of the school and the surrounding community, reflecting her commitment to making a lasting difference.
